At the opening ceremony, Liu Xiaowu, deputy director of the Tianshui Market Supervision Bureau, Yang Juntao, vice president of the Gansu Institute of Metrology, and Chen Weixin, secretary-general of the National Temperature Measurement Technical Committee, delivered speeches respectively and highly affirmed the holding of this training. Secretary-General Chen particularly pointed out that this training is taught by the first drafter/first drafting unit of the specification, ensuring the professionalism and depth of the course content and significantly improving the understanding level and cognitive height of the trainees. This training undoubtedly has extremely high gold content. It is expected that the trainees will further improve their professional capabilities through learning and make positive contributions to promoting the development of temperature measurement technology.

Focus on Four Temperature Measurement Specifications

This training conference unfolds around four temperature measurement specifications. Senior experts in the industry and the first drafter/first drafting unit of the specifications are specially invited to give lectures. At the meeting, the lecturing experts conducted in-depth analyses of various specifications and elaborated on the core contents of each specification to help participants systematically master these important measurement specifications.

JJF 1171-2024 “Calibration Specification for Temperature and Humidity Circuit Detectors” is textually interpreted by Liang Xingzhong, director of the Thermal Engineering Institute of Shandong Institute of Metrology and the first drafter. After the revision of this specification, it will be implemented on December 14. This is the first national training and learning for this specification.

JJF 1637-2017 “Calibration Specification for Base Metal Thermocouples” is textually interpreted by Dong Liang, director of the Thermal Institute of Liaoning Institute of Metrology and the first drafting unit. The training focuses on base metal thermocouples with a wide range of applications. It provides a comprehensive explanation of the measurement standards required for this project, the research on qualified alternative solutions, and the revised opinions put forward over the years of implementation.

JJF 2058-2023 “Calibration Specification for Environmental Parameters of Constant Temperature and Humidity Laboratories” is textually interpreted by Cui Chao, a senior engineer of Zhejiang Institute of Quality Sciences and the first drafter. The training focuses on the multi-parameter metrological calibration of large environmental spaces, including temperature, humidity, illuminance, wind speed, noise, and cleanliness. It provides a detailed description of the calibration methods, measurement standards, and technical requirements of each parameter, providing a professional and authoritative interpretation for carrying out related metrological calibration work.

JJF 2088-2023 “Calibration Specification for Temperature, Pressure, and Time Parameters of Large Steam Autoclave” is textually interpreted by Jin Zhijun, a teacher of the Thermal Engineering Institute of the National Institute of Metrology and the first drafter. The training elaborates and answers in detail the problems and questions encountered by various localities in their work after half a year of the implementation of the specification. It decomposes the precautions in the process of establishing standards and provides explanations for the traceability of standards.

It is worth mentioning that our company is very fortunate to be one of the drafting units of two specifications, JJF 1171-2024 “Calibration Specification for Temperature and Humidity Patrol Detectors” and JJF 2058-2023 “Calibration Specification for Environmental Parameters of Constant Temperature and Humidity Laboratories.”
Combination of Professional Guidance and Practical Teaching

To support this training conference, our company provides practical equipment for specification training, providing trainees with a learning experience that combines theory and practice. Through intuitive equipment display, trainees have a clearer understanding of the practical application of the equipment, further deepen their understanding of the specifications, and improve their ability to deal with technical difficulties in work.
